This is one of my favorite smoothies. I am not a huge smoothie drinker but when I am in the mood a variation of this smoothie is usually what I make. This smoothie is more of a meal in a cup than a snack so it is perfect for breakfast.

First, gather your ingredients; there is alot of variation you can do here. I used powdered peanut butter but feel free to use real peanut butter or any nut or seed butter you like. Same goes with the milk ; here I used unsweetened almond milk; but again – any type of milk or milk substitute you like will do. As for the sweetener, I used unsweetened almond milk and ground peanuts with no sugar added so I needed some agave to sweeten it up. Depending on what ingrediants you use you may not need any sweetener at all. Usually I make this smoothie with honey or maple syrup but I decided to try it with agave this time. I think I prefer honey but both will work.  The only two ingrediants that are not optional are the hemp and the banana.

The amounts are really up to you but here I used: 1.5 bananas because my kid only ate half of one. 1/2 cup of milk. 1 tb of hemp, 1 tb of peanut butter powder, and 1 tb of agave.

Then blend – you are done.
